We have a project in the San Diego, CA area that we are seeking a contract UX/IA for. This project is for a client in San Diego (92101) zip code and will be for 11 weeks starting 4/14/08 We have on-going projects with our clients continuously and if interested, we could work with you on other projects as well. Seeking Candidates with: * 3-5 years + experience in wireframing – must be client facing, would need to see samples of your wireframing work. Job Description * Work with project managers to write project briefs that ensure a great experience for our customers. * Create this client’s website wireframes that are simple, clear and customer focused. * Understand and document business rules and translate into wireframes and project specifications. * Work with members of the MIS team to make sure the technology supports the proposed functionality. * Work with the graphics and editorial team to identify and incorporate branding elements and copy necessary for well-branded Web sites. * Support Web site usability testing and work with team to summarize key short-term and long-term recommendations. * Help create prototypes for usability tests. * Participate in visual review and acceptance testing to make sure that details in wireframes and project specifications are implemented. Deliverables * Discovery/Assessment Findings * Stakeholder Findings * Content Inventory Matrix * User Personas and Scenarios * Content Page Layout Gap Analysis & Potential Wireframe Needs Recommendations * Recommended Taxonomy Structure * Metadata Model A couple things to note - this isn't a typical wireframing exercise. It's a very complex IA and taxonomy exercise, and involves a significant work effort (4 weeks) around creating a metadata model that they can use to organize this content in the context of the complicated security model they have.
